First of all. Everyone thinks that the village is called " Wappingers Falls" and the town is "Wappinger". That is WRONG. I have lived here for 10+ years. Village and town are called WAPPINGERS FALLS. This is a very calm town. Great place to raise kids. Inexpensive housing. The biggest, busiet road in WF is US Route 9. The second is County Road 93(Myers Corners Road). The zip code for WF is 12590. When in NY. Visit WF, it is a great place for people who enjoy watching seasons or nature. Definately a safe place. Many good, inexpensive restaurants along Route 9 and County Road 93.
